She Made It

Bun-ny In The Oven has been in my head for a long time. I wasn't ready to paint. I didn't feel like it for a long time. You have to be in a very specific place to do so. Tonight I got there, all in one go and she's done. I love her. She's so beautiful and sad. It's raining, she's naked, and she's expecting a bunny.

  3. Why are these mothers always so sad? I wonder what you were trying to convey - assuming you were going for some specific mood.

I really like them, but they make me even sadder. Not a bad thing, though. Just sharing that they make me feel my loss even more.

  4. Everyone always talks about how wonderful motherhood is, and it is. Nobody ever tells you how you're going to feel as an individual though. It's very difficult, physically and mentally. You can lose yourself in it if you're not careful. I'm glad you like my sad girls.

  5. I like them a lot, really! But as I mentioned, not in the traditional way at all.

Thanks for replying to my post; I was feeling very sad yesterday and this brief exchange of ideas helped a lot.
